Tom Parsons (Gaelic Footballer)
Tom Parsons (born 1988) is a Gaelic footballer who plays for the east Mayo club Charlestown Sarsfields. He played for the Mayo county team, until his retirement in 2021. Parsons midfielder of note at the beginning of his county career. He broke onto the Mayo senior team in 2008, giving what was described as an 'inspirational' display against his native Sligo in the Connacht Senior Football Championship semi-final. He also performed well against eventual winners Galway in the Connacht final. Mayo were knocked out of the championship by Tyrone in the last round of the qualifiers. Parsons also played for the Mayo side that the 2008 All-Ireland Under-21 Football Championship semi-final in 2008. Connacht Under-21 Football Championship
The Connacht GAA Football Under-20 Championship, known simply as the Connacht Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county Gaelic football competition organised by the Connacht Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county football competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Connacht. The championship was contested as the Connacht Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2016 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2018. It is sponsored by EirGrid. Donal Vaughan
Donal Vaughan is a Gaelic footballer who played inter county football with Mayo. He plays club football for Castlebar Mitchels since 2017 after leaving Ballinrobe. Playing career Vaughan started at centre back in two All-Ireland SFC finals: the 2012 decider, which Mayo lost by 0-13 to 2-11 against Donegal and the 2013 decider, which Mayo lost by 1-14 to 2-12 against. He was sent off in the 2017 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final after a reckless charge at John Small of Dublin after a free was awarded and Small was shown his second yellow of the match. David Clarke (born 27 November 1983) is a Gaelic footballer who plays for Ballina Stephenites GAA, Ballina Stephenites. He also played for the Mayo county football team, Mayo county team until his retirement in 2021. 2018 Connacht Senior Football Championship
The 2018 Connacht Senior Football Championship was the 119th installment of the annual Connacht Senior Football Championship organised by Connacht GAA. It is one of the four provincial competitions of the 2018 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. Unlike previous seasons, where the Connacht champions earned a place in the quarter-finals, this year's winners advanced to the new "All-Ireland Super 8s".
