Tom Mackintosh
Tom Mackintosh (born 30 January 1997) is a New Zealand rower. He is currently a single sculler, and is the reigning world bronze medal holder, a feat achieved in his debut season in the class. Mackintosh is also a reigning olympic champion, but in the sweep discipline, having won a gold medal in the eight in his Olympic debut at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics. Off the water, Mackintosh is also a public speaker and entrepreneur. Early life, education and professional career Mackintosh was born in 1997 in Wellington, New Zealand. His rowing career did not start until moving to Hastings, New Zealand, where he attended Lindisfarne College, New Zealand and joined the Hawke's Bay Rowing Club. He was motivated to start rowing by listening to his father's stories of representing New Zealand as a rower. Matthew Macdonald (born 15 March 1999) is a New Zealand rower. He won a gold medal in the men's eight event at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Career Prior to the 2020 Olympic Games, he finished second in the men's coxless four at the 2017 Junior World Rowing Championships; third in the same boat class at the 2018 Under-23 World Rowing Championships; fifteenth in the same boat class at the 2018 World Rowing Championships; and 6th in the men's eight at the 2019 World Rowing Championships. Simon Van Dorp
Simon Hendrik van Dorp (born 10 April 1997) is a Dutch rower. He is an Olympic finalist and won a medal at the 2019 World Rowing Championships. University van Dorp attended the University of Washington from 2017 to 2020 where he majored in Political Economy. Sverri Sandberg Nielsen
Sverri Sandberg Nielsen (born 14 October 1993) is a Faroese rower who competes for Danske Studenters Roklub and Denmark in the heavyweight single sculls. He also competes in indoor rowing and has set a new Danish record three years in a row, 2015, 2016 and 2017 and again in 2019 and 2020. In 2019 he won silver medal at the World Rowing Championships. In 2020 he won the European Rowing Championship and the following year he won silver at the same event. In 2021 he competes for Denmark at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Career Sverri S. Oliver Zeidler
Oliver Zeidler (born 24 July 1996) is a German rower and former swimmer. He is the reigning world champion in the men's single scull won at the 2019 World Rowing Championships and defended at the 2022 World Rowing Championships. He is the current World Games champion in indoor rowing in the open men's 2000 m class. Family Zeidler was born in 1996. He was born into a rowing family, with grandfather Hans-Johann Färber a double-Olympic medallist (gold in 1972 and bronze in 1976, both in the coxed four boat class). His grandfather trains his sister Marie (born 1999) who has won medals at 2016 and 2017 World Rowing Junior Championships.
