Tom Lahiff (Gaelic Footballer)
Thomas Lahiff (born 1995) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for Dublin SFC club St Jude's and at inter-county level with the Dublin senior football team. He usually lines out as a defender. Career Lahiff first came to sporting prominence playing soccer. He played at under-19 level with Bray Wanderers before making it onto the first team squad, however, the leap to becoming a full-time professional in Britain remained unfulfilled. Lahiff joined the St Jude's in 2014 and has been a mainstay of the senior team since then. He first appeared on the inter-county scene as a member of the Dublin under-21 football team and won a Leinster U21 Championship title in 2016. Lahiff joined the senior team for the 2019 O'Byrne Cup pre-season tournament and was an unused substitute when Dublin beat Mayo in the 2020 All-Ireland final. St Jude's GAA
St Jude's (Irish: ''Naomh Jude'') is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Templeogue on the southside of Dublin. The club fields teams in all four codes of the Gaelic Athletic Association Gaelic football, Hurling, Camogie and Ladies Football. Teams are fielded from Senior Grade right down to under eight level, the club also run a very popular academy which caters for children from four years of age to seven years of age and is open to all and free of charge. Club history The beginning It was a great era for Football in Dublin way back in the 1970s. Heffos army was on the march. There were those remarkable battles with Mick ODwyer's legendary team of bachelors wearing the green and gold jerseys of Kerry. The 2020 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final was the 133rd final of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship and the culmination of the 2020 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. Reigning All-Ireland SFC and Leinster champions Dublin took on Connacht champions Mayo, with Dublin bidding to become the first Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) team to win six consecutive editions of the competition. 2021 National Football League (Ireland)
The 2021 National Football League, known for sponsorship reasons as the Allianz National Football League, was the 90th staging of the National Football League (NFL), an annual Gaelic football tournament for Gaelic Athletic Association county teams. Thirty-one county teams from the island of Ireland compete; Kilkenny do not participate. London did not participate, due to restrictions around travel in place to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. In December 2020, it was announced that each division would be divided into North and South sections in order to reduce fixtures and minimise cross-border matches. The 2022 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was the 135th edition of the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county Gaelic football tournament since its establishment in 1887. Tyrone entered the championship as the defending champions, but were defeated by Derry in the Ulster Championship and eliminated by Armagh in the All-Ireland Qualifiers. Thirty one of the thirty two Irish counties took part – Kilkenny did not compete.
