Tom L. Ward is a prominent Oklahoma City businessman and philanthropist. He is currently the chairman and CEO oMach Resources a privately owned energy company in Oklahoma City, OK. He was the founder and former chairman and CEO oTapstone Energy and SandRidge Energy, Inc. and is the former president, chief operating officer, and co-founder of Chesapeake Energy. After growing SandRidge Energy, Inc., SandRidge into a $10 billion company, Ward and SandRidge Energy, Inc., SandRidge parted ways in 2013. The decision to move on from Ward was made without cause, along with two separate board investigations concluding nothing improper and no wrongdoings occurred during his tenure as chairman and CEO. Seiling, Oklahoma
Seiling is a city in Dewey County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 860 at the 2010 census. The town was named in 1899 for Louis Seiling, a local store owner who had acquired a homestead in the Cheyenne-Arapaho land run of April 1892. The Hobson Town and Improvement Company established a town called Hobson, but the name was changed to Seiling in January 1899. It incorporated in 1909.
