Tom Holmes (rugby League)
Tom Holmes (born 2 March 1996) is an English rugby league footballer who plays as a or for Bradford Bulls in the Betfred Championship. He played for the Castleford Tigers ( Heritage № 959) in the Super League, enjoying loan spells to the Batley Bulldogs in the Kingstone Press Championship and Oxford in League 1. He spent the 2018 season at Featherstone in the Championship, before moving to the Huddersfield Giants in the Betfred Super League, returning to Post Office Road on loan from Huddersfield in 2019. Post Office Road (currently known as the Millennium Stadium for sponsorship purposes) is a rugby league ground in Featherstone, near Pontefract, West Yorkshire, England. It is the home of rugby league club Featherstone Rovers. The ground's current capacity is 6,954. History The ground opened in 1904 and has been used by the club since their formation in 1908. The record attendance is 17,000 from a 1957 game against St. Helens. Toulouse Olympique or TO XIII is a professional rugby league club in Toulouse, south-west France. Founded in 1937, two years after the French Rugby League Federation, the club is a six-time winner of the French Rugby League Championship. Million Pound Game (stylized as £1M Game) was an annual playoff final rugby league game that decides which Championship team will be promoted to Super League the following season. Between 2015 and 2018, the game was played as part of The Qualifiers until the 2019 league restructure when it became the final of the top 5 playoff series. The name alludes to the higher level of funding Super League clubs receive. The 2017 Super League season, known as the Betfred Super League XXII for sponsorship reasons, was the 22nd season of the Super League and 123rd season of rugby league in Britain.
