Tom Green (Australian Actor)
Thomas Green (born 4 September 1991) is an Australian actor and dancer who is best known for his role as Sammy in the Australian Broadcasting Company, ABC series ''Dance Academy,'' the lead role in ''Camp (TV series), Camp'' as Kip Wampler, and as Thomas Lasky in the ''Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn'' web series. Green also starred in the 2015 film ''Downriver''. Career Beginning his professional career in 2007, his first role was in the Network Ten telemovie ''Emerald Falls'' alongside actors Vince Colosimo, Georgie Parker and Catherine McClements. He also made his stage debut in 2007 playing Phillip in ''Lockie Leonard'' with the Merrigong Theatre Company. In 2008, he starred in two Australian short films, ''Vafadar'' and ''The Ground Beneath''. For ''The Ground Beneath'', he received a nomination at the 2008 AACTA Awards, AFI Awards and won the Best Actor award in 2009 at the St Kilda, Victoria, St Kilda Film Festival. Australian Broadcasting Company
The Australian Broadcasting Company Pty. Ltd. was a company founded in Melbourne in 1924 with a capital of £A 100,000 by a consortium of entertainment interests, notably Farmer & Company, J. C. Williamson Limited and J. & N. Tait to found and operate commercial radio broadcasting stations. Other major shareholders, perhaps later entrants, were Union Theatres Limited, B & J. Fuller and J. Wollongong ( ), colloquially referred to as The Gong, is a city located in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. The name is believed to originate from the Dharawal language, meaning either 'five islands/clouds', 'ground near water' or 'sound of the sea'. Lockie Leonard is a fictional character and the protagonist of a trilogy of young adult novels by Australian by the author Tim Winton.
