Tom Dickson (figure Skater)
Tom Dickson is an American figure skating choreographer, coach, and former competitor. He is the 1980 Nebelhorn Trophy champion, 1982 St. Ivel International bronze medalist, and 1980 U.S. national junior champion. Career During his eligible career, Dickson won the U.S. Figure Skating Championships at junior level in 1980; at the senior level, he placed 5th at the 1984 Championships. He won the Nebelhorn Trophy in 1980. After ending his competitive career, Dickson skated with Ice Capades. Choreography Dickson started doing skating choreography when his former coach, Carlo Fassi, asked him to work with Chen Lu in 1991. Dickson also coaches at the Broadmoor Skating Club. Figure Skating
Figure skating is a sport in which individuals, pairs, or groups perform on figure skates on ice. It was the first winter sport to be included in the Olympic Games, when contested at the 1908 Olympics in London. The Olympic disciplines are men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance; the four individual disciplines are also combined into a team event, first included in the Winter Olympics in 2014. The non-Olympic disciplines include synchronized skating, Theater on Ice, and four skating. From intermediate through senior-level competition, skaters generally perform two programs (the short program and the free skate), which, depending on the discipline, may include spins, jumps, moves in the field, lifts, throw jumps, death spirals, and other elements or moves. Satoko Miyahara
is a retired Japanese figure skater. She is the 2015 World silver medalist, the 2018 World bronze medalist, the 2016 Four Continents champion, a two-time Four Continents silver medalist (2014, 2015), a two-time Grand Prix Final silver medalist (2015, 2016), a two-time Skate America champion (2017, 2018), a four-time CS U.S. Classic champion (2015, 2016, 2018, 2019), and a four-time Japanese national champion (2014–17). Agnes Zawadzki
Agnes Elizabeth Zawadzki (born July 31, 1994) is an American former competitive figure skater. She is the 2012 Rostelecom Cup bronze medalist and a two-time U.S. national bronze medalist (2012, 2013). As a junior, she was a two-time World Junior medalist ( 2010 silver, 2011 bronze) and the 2010 U.S. national junior champion. Megan Williams-Stewart
Megan Williams-Stewart (born June 27, 1987) is an American former competitive figure skater. She is the 2006 Ondrej Nepela Memorial champion and 2007 Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist. She began representing Puerto Rico in the 2008–09 season and became the 2009 Puerto Rican national silver medalist. Personal life Williams-Stewart was born on June 27, 1987 in Takoma Park, Maryland. She was raised in Ellicott, Maryland. Yuna Shiraiwa
is a Japanese figure skater. She is the 2018 CS Asian Open silver medalist, the 2017 Asian Trophy silver medalist, and the 2018 Coupe du Printemps bronze medalist. Aki Sawada
is a Japanese former competitive figure skater. She is the 2005 ISU Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist and 2005 JGP Japan champion. Career Sawada began skating when she was six at her mother's encouragement. She debuted on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series in the 2002–03 season. Adam Richard Rippon (born November 11, 1989) is an American figure skater. He won the 2010 Four Continents Championships and the 2016 U.S. National Championships. Earlier in his career, he won the 2008 and 2009 World Junior Championships, the 2007–2008 Junior Grand Prix Final, and the 2008 U.S junior national title.
