Freiberg
Freiberg is a university and former mining town in Saxony, Germany. It is a so-called ''Große Kreisstadt'' (large county town) and the administrative centre of Mittelsachsen district. In addition to the domestic league, FC Erzgebirge Aue are participating in this season's edition of the DFB-Pokal. The season covers the period from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023.
