Together For Tolerance
Together for Tolerance ( sr, Заједно за толеранцију, Zajedno za toleranciju) was a political coalition in Serbia. At the 2003 legislative elections in Serbia, held on December 28, 2003, the alliance won 4.2% of the popular vote, but no seats in the parliament. The alliance was formed by the League of Vojvodina Social Democrats, Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians, the Sandžak Democratic Party, and the League for Šumadija. The alliance was disbanded after the elections. This is a list of political groups by country. A political group also known as a political alliance, coalition or bloc, is cooperation by members of different political parties on a common agenda of some kind. This usually involves formal agreements between two or more entire parties. A political group is usually especially beneficial to the parties concerned during and immediately after elections – due to characteristics of the electoral systems concerned (e.g. allowing each party to clear electoral thresholds) and/or allowing parties to participate in formation of a government after elections. 2003 Serbian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Serbia on 28 December 2003 to elect members of the National Assembly. Serbia had been in a state of political crisis since the overthrow of the post-communist ruler, Slobodan Milošević, in 2001. The reformers, led by former Yugoslav President Vojislav Koštunica, have been unable to gain control of the Serbian presidency because three successive presidential elections have failed to produce the required 50% turnout. The assassination in March 2003 of reformist Prime Minister, Zoran Đinđić was a major setback. League Of Vojvodina Social Democrats
The League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina ( sr-cyrl, Лига социјалдемократа Војводине, Liga socijaldemokrata Vojvodine, LSV) is an autonomist political party in Serbia. The Social Democratic Party of Serbia ( sr, Социјалдемократска партија Србије, Socijaldemokratska partija Srbije, SDPS) is a centre-left political party in Serbia. The League for Šumadija ( sr, Лига за Шумадију, Liga za Šumadiju; abbr. ЛЗШ or LZŠ), also known as the Šumadija Coalition, was a regionalist political party in the Šumadija region of Serbia in the late 1990s and 2000s. Vojvodina ( sr-Cyrl, Војводина}), officially the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, is an autonomous province that occupies the northernmost part of Serbia.
