Toby Johnson (American Football)
Roderick L. "Toby" Johnson Jr. (born September 1, 1991) is an American football defensive tackle for the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League (USFL). He played college football at the University of Georgia after two years at Hutchinson Community College and was signed by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent after the 2015 NFL Draft. Early years Johnson attended Banneker High School in suburban Atlanta, where he played football, basketball and competed in track and field. Listed at 6'3", 240 lbs, he earned All-State honors as a tight end and All-Region recognition as a defensive end as a senior in 2010. A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. Hutchinson Community College (HutchCC or HCC) is a public community college in Hutchinson, Kansas, United States. It serves nearly 5,000 credit students every semester. History The college was established in the spring of 1928 as Hutchinson Junior College, and held its first classes that fall. The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. The 2015 NFL Draft was the 80th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible football players.
