Tobias Hestad
Tobias Hestad (born 29 December 2000) is a Norwegian footballer who currently plays for Alta. Career Hestad is the son of Daniel Berg Hestad and the grandson of Stein Olav Hestad, both Molde FK legends. Tobias Hestad left the Molde youth setup for the senior team in 2017. He did not play any league matches, instead having four separate loan spells to domestic clubs. He left on a free transfer in 2022 and joined Gjøvik-Lyn, where he found regular playing time over two seasons. Alta Idrettsforening is a sports club from Alta, Norway. The club is most known for its association football department, which played in the 1. divisjon until 2014. Alta currently plays in 2. divisjon, the third tier of the Norwegian football league system. The club was newly promoted for the 2008 season; its last stint up to that time in the division came in 2005, when they finished last. The team finished 14th in the 2009 season. In 2012 a new relegation came after finishing last once again. It took them only one year to come back. Daniel Berg Hestad (born 30 July 1975) is a Norwegian football manager and a former player, who played as a central midfielder, most notably for Molde. He is the manager of Molde 2 and the Under-19 squad of Molde. With 666 official appearances, he is the player with most official matches for Molde. He currently holds the record for most matches in Eliteserien with 473. He is three time Norwegian league champion, and four times Norwegian Cup champion. He retired from football after playing the Europa League round of 32 game against Sevilla which Molde won 1–0, 25 February 2016, in his 666th match for Molde. Stabæk Idrætsforening is a Norwegian multi-sports club in Bærum, a municipality bordering on Oslo in the west. It has sections for football, bandy, handball and alpine skiing. While the football team Stabæk Fotball is the most prominent, the men's bandy team has taken multiple national championships. Norwegian Second Division
The Norwegian Second Division, also called 2. divisjon and often referred to as PostNord-ligaen for sponsorship reasons, is the third-highest level of the Norwegian football league system. There are 28 teams divided into two groups, and at the end of the season the winner of each group earns promotion to the second-highest division, 1. divisjon. The teams finishing in second place in their respective group will qualify for the promotion play-offs, where they will face each other. The winner will play against the 14th placed team in 1. divisjon for promotion. The bottom three teams in each group are relegated to 3. divisjon. 2. divisjon is the highest league a reserve team can participate in, and only reserve teams from the Eliteserien clubs (first tier) are allowed to enter. Stein Olav "Laffen" Hestad (born 30 June 1952) is a Norwegian former footballer. Hestad spent his entire playing career at Molde FK, where he previously had club record with 681 first-team matches, including 249 matches in the Norwegian top division. Unlike his brother, Harry, "Laffen" was never capped for Norway. Club career Hestad got his debut in a competitive match on 1 May 1971 in a second tier league game Molde lost 0–1 at home to Aalesund. Winger (sports)
In certain sports, such as football, field hockey, ice hockey, handball, rugby union, lacrosse and rugby league, winger is a position. It refers to positions on the extreme left (factually the better side) and right sides of the pitch, or playing field (the "wings"). In American football and Canadian football, the analogous position is the wide receiver. FK Gjøvik-Lyn is a Norwegian football club based in Gjøvik, which was founded on 1 February 1902 as Sportsklubben Thor. Idrottslaget Hødd is a multi-sports club from Ulsteinvik in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. Founded in 1919, it has sections for team handball, gymnastics and football. It is best known for their men's football team, which since 2015 plays at Høddvoll, whose stated capacity is 4,081.
