To Se Vysvětlí, Soudruzi!
''To se vysvětlí, soudruzi!'' (''We’re On It, Comrades! '') is a mystery comedy television series coproduced by Czech Television and ZDF. The series aims to follow on from popular 1980s co-production projects of Czechoslovakia and West Germany Návštěvníci, Létající Čestmír or Arabela. Episode titles refer to comedy films by Václav Vorlíček and Jindřich Polák. The series draws inspiration from real events. Plot itself is inspired by real life Czechoslovak institute that focused on paranormal activity which existed in 1980s. Some media called the series "Czech The X-Files." Director Matěj Chlupáček mentioned during interview in August 2023 that he would like to make a second season if the series is successful. Plot The series follows members of the Institute of Paranormal Phenomena who solve various mysteries in 1980s communist Czechoslovakia. Michal Samir
Michal Samir (born November 14, 1985) is a Czech Republic, Czech film director, screenwriter and producer. He made his directorial debut with the 2014 film, '. His most recent project is television miniseries ''Iveta (miniseries), Iveta'' about Czech singer Iveta Bartošová. Career He is a graduate of the directing course at Drama Centre London, a school noted for its methodological approach to performance and for producing a host of high-profile actors including Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, Paul Bettany and Emilia Clarke. Following graduation in 2010, he collaborated as actor supervisor on debut feature film, ' (Touchless), which premiered in 2013 to mixed reviews. In 2014, another collaboration with Chlupáček resulted in Samir's debut feature, ''Hany'', which received universal release in the Czech Republic, despite being made on a budget of only $240,000.
