Titian Of Brescia
Saint Titian of Brescia ( it, San Tiziano di Brescia) was a fifth-century bishop of Brescia. In the list of bishops of Brescia, he is considered the fifteenth bishop of Brescia, succeeding Vigilius and preceding Paul II. His episcopate is believed to have occurred at the end of the fifth century. He was buried in the Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian (ss. Cosma e Damiano), but this church was demolished in May 1302 by Bishop Berard in order to build the Palazzo Broletto on the Piazza del Duomo. A newer Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian was rebuilt in the western part of the city, in the area known as Campi Bassi, and Titian's relics were translated Translation is the communication of the meaning of a source-language text by means of an equivalent target-language text. Titian Of Oderzo
Saint Titian of Oderzo ( it, San Tiziano di Oderzo) was a 7th-century bishop of Opitergium (Oderzo), in the Province of Treviso. Titian was born to a noble family of Eraclea (Grisolera) in the Veneto region, and served as a deacon and priest to Florian (Florianus), bishop of Opitergium (Oderzo). Titian devoted himself to serving the poor, and when Florian stepped down from his episcopal office to work as a missionary, Titian was declared his successor. Titian devoted himself to his diocese, and was an opponent of Arianism. Titian died in 632, traditionally on January 16, and was buried in the cathedral of Oderzo. Veneration Many miracles are said to have occurred at Titian's tomb in Oderzo, and Titian's cult spread as a result. Evidence of his cult exists from the 8th century, with documents referring to his cult dating from 743 and 794, and his name appears in Usuard's martyrology of 875. His name appears in the ''Roman Martyrology'' of 1584. His relics are now in the crypt ...

Tiziano Aspetti
Tiziano Aspetti (15591606) was an Italian sculptor of the Renaissance. He was born in Padua and active mainly there and in Venice. He completed both large and small sculpture in bronze. Among his large works are bronze statues in the façade of San Francesco della Vigna and of ''Saint Anthony'' and many other sculptural decorations for the Basilica of Sant'Antonio of Padua. When Aspetti began his public career in the 1590s, Alessandro Vittoria had practically stopped sculpting and Girolamo Campagna had a monopoly on the main sculptural commissions. Although Aspetti beat Campagna to the commission for the Sant'Antonio altar, he was not so successful in Venice, producing nothing quite as powerful as Campagna's high altar for San Giorgio Maggiore (1590-1593) and the altar at San Salvatore (). However, he had no rivals in Florence for producing reliefs, other than perhaps Giovanni Battista Caccini and his contemporary Giambologna, which may have been Aspetti's reason for moving th ...

Tiziano Vecelli
Tiziano Vecelli or Vecellio (; 27 August 1576), known in English as Titian ( ), was an Italian ( Venetian) painter of the Renaissance, considered the most important member of the 16th-century Venetian school. He was born in Pieve di Cadore, near Belluno. During his lifetime he was often called ''da Cadore'', 'from Cadore', taken from his native region. Recognized by his contemporaries as "The Sun Amidst Small Stars" (recalling the final line of Dante's '' Paradiso''), Titian was one of the most versatile of Italian painters, equally adept with portraits, landscape backgrounds, and mythological and religious subjects. His painting methods, particularly in the application and use of colour, exercised a profound influence not only on painters of the late Italian Renaissance, but on future generations of Western artists. His career was successful from the start, and he became sought after by patrons, initially from Venice and its possessions, then joined by the north Italian prin ...
