Tiri is a village in the Zangilan District of Azerbaijan, lying close to the Araz River which forms the border between Azerbaijan and Iran. History The village was located in the Armenian-occupied territories surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, coming under the control of ethnic Armenian forces during the First Nagorno-Karabakh War in 1993. It is also the location of two pre-historic archaeological sites. History Taire I (referred to as Et Taireh I) is located 3.5 km north of Ain Ebel to the west of the village. The exact location of the site is unknown and the assemblage found was small and of indeterminable date. It was only mentioned in passing by Paul Bovier-Lapierre in 1908 and Karge in 1918. José Luis Espinosa Arroyo (born 14 July 1991), known as Tiri, is a Spanish footballer who plays for Indian Super League club ATK Mohun Bagan FC as a defender. He never played any higher than Segunda División B in his own country, where he made 90 appearances for three clubs. He played over 100 matches in the Indian Super League for ATK, Jamshedpur and ATK Mohun Bagan, winning the title with the first team in 2016 and being at one point the most-capped foreign player in the history of the competition. Tiri (Ciri, Tĩrĩ), or Mea (''Ha Mea''), is an Oceanic language of New Caledonia.
