Tinted Windows (band)
Tinted Windows were an American rock supergroup formed by guitarist James Iha of The Smashing Pumpkins, singer Taylor Hanson of Hanson, bassist Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne and Ivy, and drummer Bun E. Carlos of Cheap Trick. The band issued one album in 2009, and performed live in 2009 and 2010. Josh Lattanzi of The Lemonheads performed with the band as the second guitarist. Career The first performance by the band was on March 18, 2009, at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The band made their South by Southwest debut on March 20, 2009, at the Levi/Fader Fort, followed by a set at the Pangea Lounge. The band also played at The Bamboozle in New Jersey on May 3, 2009. Josh Lattanzi
Josh Lattanzi is an American musician best known for his collaborations with Norah Jones, Ben Kweller, The Lemonheads, Albert Hammond Jr., and The Candles. Early life Lattanzi graduated from Berklee College of Music in 1994. Early Collaborations Lattanzi recorded and toured with Juliana Hatfield 1998–2002. He recorded background vocals on James Taylor's 2003 release, ''October Road''. He joined Ivy as their touring guitar player during tours from 2002–2004. 2001–2005: Ben Kweller After Radish broke up, Lattanzi joined Ben Kweller's band on bass. ''Tinted Windows'' is the album by American supergroup Tinted Windows. Tinted Windows was formed in New York City and consists of guitarist James Iha, previously of The Smashing Pumpkins and A Perfect Circle, singer Taylor Hanson of Hanson, bassist Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne and Ivy, and Cheap Trick's Bun E. Carlos. The album was recorded at Stratosphere Sound Studios in New York, which Schlesinger and Iha co-own with Ivy's Andy Chase. The Bamboozle
The Bamboozle was an annual three-day music festival which was held in New Jersey from 2003 to 2012, and was scheduled for a 2023 revival in Atlantic City by its founder. Every year, new bands competed for spots during the two days. The event evolved out of the Skate and Surf Festival. The 2012 event was the final one of its original run, as founder John D'Esposito subsequently left Bamboozle due to creative differences with organizing partners. South by Southwest (SXSW) is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and Convention (meeting), conferences organized jointly that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas.
