Tingvollfjorden (Møre Og Romsdal)
Tingvollfjorden is a fjord in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The long fjord passes through the municipalities of Tingvoll, Gjemnes, Molde, and Sunndal. The inner part of the fjord (within the municipality of Sunndal) is called the Sunndalsfjorden. The fjord begins at the island of Bergsøya and stretches about to the village of Sunndalsøra. The river Driva flows into the fjord at its end. The fjord reaches a maximum depth of below sea level. Villages along the fjord include Torvikbukt, Flemma, Angvika, Tingvollvågen, Rausand, Jordalsgrenda, Øksendalsøra, Hoem, and Sunndalsøra. Nordmøre
Nordmøre (English: North- Møre) is a traditional district in the Norwegian county of Møre og Romsdal. The area comprises the northern third of the county including the municipalities of Kristiansund, Averøy, Tingvoll, Surnadal, Aure, Halsa, Eide, Sunndal, Gjemnes, and Smøla. The only town in Nordmøre is Kristiansund. Of these ten municipalities, three are located (mainly) on islands: Kristiansund, Averøy, and Smøla and seven lie on the coast (including between, adjacent to, or at the end of, fjords): Tingvoll, Surnadal, Aure, Halsa, Eide, Sunndal, and Gjemnes; no municipalities are completely landlocked. Historically, the municipality of Rindal was part of the county and region, but it was transferred to Trøndelag county on 1 January 2019. Driva
The Driva river runs through Trøndelag and Møre og Romsdal counties in Norway. The headwaters lie in the Dovrefjell mountains in the south, from where it flows northward, downward through the Drivdalen valley in the municipality of Oppdal. When the river gets to the village of Oppdal, it turns westward and heads down the Sunndalen valley to the Sunndalsfjord at the village of Sunndalsøra in the municipality of Sunndal. Some of the other villages along the river include Grøa, Hoelsand, Lønset, and Vognillan. The Norwegian National Road 70 follows the river for most of its course. Many of the tributaries on the west side of the Oppdal valley are dry since the waters in reservoirs formed from the many mountain lakes in that region flow in pipes through the mountain to the Driva hydroelectric power station at Fale in Sunndal.
