The history of the Irish language begins with the period from the arrival of speakers of Celtic languages in Ireland to Ireland's earliest known form of Irish, Primitive Irish, which is found in Ogham inscriptions dating from the 3rd or 4th century AD. Tim Corcoran (first Baseman)
Timothy Michael Corcoran (born March 19, 1953), is a former baseball player who played nine years in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1977 to 1986, principally as a first baseman and right fielder. He began his career with the Detroit Tigers (1977–1980), Minnesota Twins (1981), Philadelphia Phillies ( 1983–1985), and New York Mets (1986). Over the course of his 9-year big league career, Corcoran played at first base (183 games), outfield (174 games), and designated hitter (14 games). Early years Corcoran was born in Glendale, California, in 1953. Timothy Robert Corcoran II (born March 17, 1973) is an American politician. A member of the Democratic Party, he has served in the Vermont House of Representatives since being first elected in 2002. He earned his BA in political science from Johnson State College. His father, Timothy R. Corcoran, served in the House from 1981 to 1995 and as Bennington Bennington is a town in Bennington County, Vermont, United States. Timothy Hugh Corcoran (born April 15, 1978) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Yokohama DeNA BayStars. Corcoran's brother, Roy Corcoran, also played professional baseball Professional career New York Mets Corcoran was selected by the New York Mets in the 44th round of the 1996 MLB Draft out of Jackson High School. He began his professional career with the Kingsport Mets in 1997 and played in the Mets farm system through 2000.
