''Godshow'' is an autobiographical play (theatre), play written and starred by Tim O'Malley. ''Godshow'' is the story of actor Tim O'Malley's life at Chicago's The Second City Theater in the 90's. The show covers O'Malley's battle with bitterness, alcoholism, and cocaine dependence, cocaine addiction, back to his life through Drug rehabilitation, recovery and his stage, feature film and television success. The Second City
The Second City is an improvisational comedy enterprise and is the oldest ongoing improvisational theater troupe to be continually based in Chicago, with training programs and live theatres in Toronto and Los Angeles. Cocaine Dependence
Cocaine dependence is a neurological disorder that is characterized by withdrawal symptoms upon cessation from cocaine use. It also often coincides with cocaine addiction which is a biopsychosocial disorder characterized by persistent use of cocaine and/or crack despite substantial harm and adverse consequences. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (5th ed., abbreviated DSM-5), classifies problematic cocaine use as a " Stimulant use disorder".
