Tim O'Brien is an American politician and businessman serving as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives from the 78th district. He assumed office on March 30, 2021. Early life and education O'Brien was born in Hobart, Indiana. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Southern Indiana in 2015. Career Outside of politics, O'Brien works as a real estate agent and broker. In 2019, he became president of the Southwest Indiana Association of Realtors. In 2019, O'Brien ran unsuccessfully for the Evansville City Council. Holli Sullivan is an American politician, businesswoman, and engineer who served as the 62nd secretary of state of Indiana. As a member of the Republican Party, she also represented the 78th district in the Indiana House of Representatives from 2014 to 2021. Early life and education A native of Vanderburgh County, Indiana, Sullivan graduated from John H. Castle High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Missouri and took business management courses at Lindenwood University. Hobart, Indiana
Hobart is a city in Lake County, Indiana, United States. The population was 29,890 at the 2020 census, up from 29,059 in 2010. It has been historically primarily residential, though recent annexation has added a notable retail corridor to the city. History Hobart was platted in 1849. George Earle, an English immigrant bought land from the Potawatomi Native American tribe, who built a dam on Deep River, creating Lake George. He named the settlement that later developed into Hobart, after his brother, Frederick Hobart Earle, who never left England. The first school of the city was built in 1878.
