''Till Death Unites Us'' is the fourth full-length studio album by the Finnish melodic death metal band Norther. It was released on 25 January 2006 through Spinefarm Records. The album has no cover song, while most other Norther releases include such a song; this release marks their first studio album to not include a cover song. The song "Scream" was released as a CD single. Norther
Norther was a Finnish melodic death metal band from Espoo formed in 1996 and broke up in 2012. History Norther formed under the name Requiem (Lindroos, Korpas, Hallio) in 1996 after various early stage band formations. The band's debut effort was the album, ''Dreams of Endless War'', released through Spinefarm Records in 2002. The album entered the Finnish charts at position 17. At the time, Norther was playing shows only in and around the Helsinki area. That changed when the album ''Mirror of Madness'' came out in early 2003 (entering the Finnish charts at position 11). The group toured with Dimmu Borgir and Hypocrisy in late 2003. In early 2004, Norther released its third full-length album, ''Death Unlimited,'' which reached 17 on the Finnish charts. Norther played several shows in 2005 and then recorded an EP, ''Solution7'' (recorded at Astia Studio). It landed in the official Finnish charts at position five. Kristian Ranta
Kristian Ranta, also known as Kride, was the guitarist of the Finnish melodic death metal band Norther, until their break up in 2012. Kristian has composed most of Norther's best known songs including Frozen Angel, and is also credited for renaming the band (originally called Requiem). Ranta has played the guitar on all the band's full-length albums, the most recent being '' Circle Regenerated'' (2011) and '' N'' (2008), and contributed clean vocals to the ''Solution 7 EP'', ''Till Death Unites Us'', the ''No Way Back EP'' and ''N''. He has formed an experimental side project named Gashouse Garden with Children of Bodom drummer Jaska Raatikainen. Kristian has also acted, along with his band mates, in a Finnish film called '' Vares 2''. Norther and Kristian also composed a title track for this film called Frozen Angel, for which a music video, featuring images of the movie, was made. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses. Toni Hallio
Toni Hallio is the former drummer for and one of the founding members of melodic death metal band Norther. He left the band in October 2005 to pursue other interests. However, he still recorded the drums for Norther's ''Till Death Unites Us'' instead of the band's current drummer Heikki Saari. Electric Guitar
An electric guitar is a guitar that requires external amplification in order to be heard at typical performance volumes, unlike a standard acoustic guitar (however combinations of the two - a semi-acoustic guitar and an electric acoustic guitar exist).
