Thomas Merrill (racing Driver)
Thomas Merrill (born April 17, 1986) is an American racing driver who competes in the Trans-Am Series and Porsche Carrera Cup North America. Alongside Nicky Catsburg and Chandler Hull, he was the 2023 Asian Le Mans Series champion in the GT class. He also won the TA2-class title in the 2022 Trans-Am Series. Career Early career Merrill was exposed to racing at a young age, as both of his parents were racing drivers themselves, taking part in Porsche Club meetings around his hometown of Salinas, California. Merrill himself began racing at age 8, culminating in his first karting title in 1998 at the age of 11. Following on his from initial title victory, he would win six consecutive championships over the following years, including back-to-back national titles in 2005 and 2006. Marc Alan Miller (born August 24, 1975, in Grand Rapids, MI) is an American professional race car driver. Miller has twice competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and most recently in the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge in 2016 in the GS class. Career Miller began his career in karting, at the age of 11. He has raced in a variety of cars including karts, open-wheel, stock, and sportscars. Lime Rock Park is a natural-terrain motorsport road racing venue located in Lakeville, Connecticut, United States, a hamlet in the town of Salisbury, in the state's northwest corner. Auto Club Speedway, originally opened as California Speedway, is a , low-banked, D-shaped oval superspeedway in unincorporated San Bernardino County, California, near Fontana. IMSA SportsCar Challenge
The IMSA VP Racing Sportscar Challenge is a North American auto racing series for LMP3 and GT4 (run as the GSX class) vehicles. The series is sanctioned by IMSA and is usually run as support races for the IMSA SportsCar Championship. The series began in 2023 as a replacement for the IMSA Prototype Challenge series. The IMSA VP Racing Sportscar Challenge retained LMP3 class cars from the Prototype Challenge series, but introduced GT4 cars to allow for multi-class racing. The series features two 45-minute races per event weekend with no mid-race pit stops or driver changes. The Skip Barber Racing School is an American racing and driving school. Skip Barber founded the school in 1975. History In 1975, Skip Barber started the Skip Barber School of High Performance Driving at Riverside International Raceway. In 1976, it was renamed the Skip Barber Racing School.
