''This World Is Going to Ruin You'' is the second studio album by American hardcore punk band Vein.fm (formerly Vein), which was released on March 4, 2022, through Closed Casket Activities and Nuclear Blast. It was recorded in April 2020, shortly after the start of the COVID-19 lockdowns. The album was produced in the Graphic Nature Audio studio by Will Putney of Fit for an Autopsy. Release The band released the lead single from the album, "The Killing Womb", on January 5, 2022, and announced that the album would be released later on March 4, 2022. On January 25, 2022, the band released the second single "Fear in Non Fiction". The album's final single, "Wavery" was released on February 15, 2022. Reception The album has received generally positive reviews, with ''Kerrang!'' calling it "a startlingly ambitious piece of work from a truly iconoclastic band." Vein

Elmo Kennedy O'Connor (born January 11, 1994), known professionally as Bones (stylized sometimes as BONES), is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from Howell, Michigan. Jeromes Dream is a screamo band from Connecticut, originally active from 1997 to 2001, and again from 2018 onwards. History Jeromes Dream began on September 13, 1997 after a short jam session between bassist Jeff Smith, guitarist Nick Antonopoulos, and drummer Erik Ratensperger that was held in the basement of Antonopoulos' mother's house. According to Erik Ratensperger, their first recorded material was intended to be used for a demo release; however, it caught the attention of Rice Control Records, resulting in the intended demo material being released as a split album with Amalgamation. Geoffrey William Rickly (born March 8, 1979) is an American musician, best known as the lead singer and songwriter of rock band Thursday. Rickly is also a member of hardcore punk band United Nations, and the alternative rock group No Devotion with former members of Lostprophets, and is the founder of the record label Collect Records. Personal life Rickly was born in Providence, Rhode Island and raised in Dumont, New Jersey, into a Catholic family, and attended Dumont High School, where he was a member of the band and played the tenor sax. He was raised Catholic, Rickly is a diagnosed epileptic, which has affected his ability to tour. In early 2013, Rickly was mugged in New York City, where his cell phone, iPad, wallet, credit card, rent money, and medication were stolen. Slipknot is an American heavy metal band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995 by percussionist Shawn Crahan, drummer Joey Jordison and bassist Paul Gray.
