''Fabulous Beast'' is the third studio album released by Australian rock group Boom Crash Opera. The album was released in March 1993 and peaked at number 15 on the ARIA Charts. It is the first Boom Crash Opera album not to feature Richard Pleasance who left the band in 1992 after he was diagnosed with Tinnitus. East West Records (stylized as east''west'') is a record label formed in 1955, distributed and owned by Warner Music Group, headquartered in London, England. Richard Pleasance
Richard Arnold Pleasance is an Australian rock musician and producer. He was a founding member of Boom Crash Opera on guitar, bass guitar, vocals and as a songwriter in 1985; they released three albums before Pleasance left in 1992. Their hit Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) singles, "Great Wall" (No. 5, 1986) and "Onion Skin" (No. 11, 1989) were co-written by Pleasance, who also co-produced their second album, '' These Here Are Crazy Times'' (No. 10, 1989). His debut solo release, ''Galleon'' received four nominations at the ARIA Music Awards for 1992. Pleasance composed the theme music for Australian television series, ''SeaChange'' (1998–2001), for 2006 feature film ''Kenny'' and more recently he composed the theme music for the prison drama series ''Wentworth''. Don Gehman
Don Gehman is an American record producer, engineer, and executive, best known for his work with John Mellencamp and Hootie & the Blowfish. He was one of "the most successful producers of the 1980s and 1990s." As a sound engineer, he also helped invent the modern rock P.A. and monitor systems. Early life Gehman was born in Blue Ball, Pennsylvania. As a child, he was interested in science and his parent's Magnavox stereo. His interests evolved from a photography dark room in the basement to chemistry to physics to electronics. He played bass guitar in a rock band when he was fourteen years old.
