Frances (musician)
Sophie Frances Cooke (born 27 June 1993), known mononymously as Frances, is a British singer and songwriter from Newbury, Berkshire, England. Early life Born in Oxford, she grew up in Newbury and attended St Gabriel's School in nearby Sandleford. She later studied music at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. Career In August 2014, she was the featured artist for the track "Fire May Save You" for the French music label Kitsuné. The single was released as part of an EP, which contained remixes of the same track. In July 2015, she released the EP ''Grow'' for Communion Records. Indie pop (also typeset as indie-pop or indiepop) is a music genre and subculture that combines guitar pop with DIY ethic in opposition to the style and tone of mainstream pop music. Soul Music
Soul music is a popular music genre that originated in the African American community throughout the United States in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It has its roots in African-American gospel music and rhythm and blues. Capitol Records, LLC (known legally as Capitol Records, Inc. until 2007) is an American record label distributed by Universal Music Group through its Capitol Music Group imprint. Stephen Fitzmaurice is an Irish mixer and producer based in London, England. His credits include albums for Depeche Mode, Seal, Sam Smith, Ian Brown, Kylie Minogue, Sting, Paloma Faith, Olly Murs, The Kooks, Alicia Keys, U2, Hikaru Utada, and Mr.Children. As a teenager, Fitzmaurice moved from Dublin to London, where he began working at Sarm Studios with producer Trevor Horn and mixer Julian Mendelsohn. Disclosure is an English electronic music duo consisting of brothers Howard (born 11 May 1994) and Guy Lawrence (born 25 May 1991). They grew up in Reigate, Surrey. Ben Ash, professionally known as Two Inch Punch, is an English record producer, musician, remixer and songwriter. He has written and produced records with Jessie Ware, Sam Smith, Years & Years, Rag'n'Bone Man, Tory Lanez, Ty Dolla $ign, Damon Albarn, and Brian Eno. Ash also collaborates with American producer Benny Blanco as the production outfit BenZel. They have featured with Sia, Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, Cashmere Cat and Ryn Weaver. Jonny Lattimer is a songwriter, musician, and producer, who first came to prominence through his work with Ellie Goulding. Tich (singer)
Rachel Clare Furner (born 1 July 1992), known by her stage name Tich, is an English singer and songwriter signed to Universal Music Publishing. She originally performed as an artist under Tich and as Rachel Furner, signed to Mercury Records. Background Furner was born in Reading and grew up in Northampton. She began to learn to play the piano at the age of six. By age 11 she started to write her own songs about her struggles at school, these experiences inspired her to write a song called Sticks and Stones which she recorded and uploaded to Myspace. In 2006 she became a member of Youth Music Theatre UK joining the Missing Melanie company at London's Greenwood Theatre. At age 15, she got her first record deal with Mercury Records.
