"There by the Grace of God" is a song by Wales, Welsh alternative rock band Manic Street Preachers. It was released on 14 October 2002 by record label Epic Records, Epic as a single from the band's greatest hits album ''Forever Delayed''. Content The song is noted for the line "And all the drugs in the world can't save us from ourselves", which is an almost word-for-word quote from Marilyn Manson's song "Coma White", which features the line "And all the drugs in this world can't save her from herself". Manic Street Preachers
Manic Street Preachers, also known simply as the Manics, are a Welsh Rock music, rock band formed in Blackwood, Caerphilly, Blackwood in 1986. The band consists of cousins James Dean Bradfield (lead vocals, lead guitar) and Sean Moore (musician), Sean Moore (drums, percussion, soundscapes), plus Nicky Wire (bass guitar, lyrics). They form a key part of the 1990s Welsh Cool Cymru cultural movement. Following the release of their debut single "Suicide Alley", Manic Street Preachers were joined by Richey Edwards as co-lyricist and rhythm guitarist, the band became as a quartet. The A-side and B-side are the two sides of phonograph records and cassettes; these terms have often been printed on the labels of two-sided music recordings. History The early years The first standalone issue of ''Record Collector'' was published in March 1980, though its history stretches back further. New Order (band)
New Order are an English rock band formed in 1980 by vocalist and guitarist Bernard Sumner, bassist Peter Hook and drummer Stephen Morris. Depeche Mode are an English electronic music band formed in Basildon, Essex, in 1980. The band currently consists of Dave Gahan (lead vocals and co-songwriting) and Martin Gore (keyboards, guitar, co-lead vocals and main songwriting).
