Daniel Theis
Daniel Theis (born April 4, 1992) is a German professional basketball player for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). After seven seasons in the Basketball Bundesliga where he was a four-time All Star and three-time champion, Theis signed with the Boston Celtics of the NBA where he played for four seasons before a trade brought him to the Chicago Bulls in March 2021. The Bulls traded Theis to the Houston Rockets in August 2021, who in turn traded Theis back to the Celtics in February 2022, before being traded to the Indiana Pacers in July 2022. With the Celtics, he reached the NBA Finals during his second stint with the team. Early life Born in Salzgitter, Theis went through the Braunschweig youth system. Phillip Theis (born June 25, 1958) is an American former professional wrestler. He is best known for his appearances in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) between 1992 and 1993 under the ring name Damien Demento. As Damien Demento, Theis wrestled in the main event of the first episode of '' WWF Monday Night Raw'' on January 11, 1993, losing to The Undertaker. Frank Gordon Theis (June 26, 1911 – January 17, 1998) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. Education and career Born in Yale, Kansas, Theis received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kansas in 1933 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 1936. He was in private practice in Arkansas City, Kansas from 1936 to 1937, 1939 to 1950, and 1952 to 1967. He was an attorney for the Kansas Tax Commission from 1937 to 1939. He was deputy county attorney of Cowley County, Kansas from 1942 to 1946. He was chief counsel of the Office of Price Stabilization for Kansas from 1950 to 1952. Louis Fred Theis
Louis Fred Pfeifer (June 19, 1876 – February 9, 1949) was a private in the United States Marine Corps who received the Medal of Honor for risking his life to rescue several shipmates during a fire aboard . Pfeifer joined the Marine Corps from Philadelphia under the name Louis Fred Theis and served aboard the during engagements in the waters around Manila during the Spanish–American War. When a fire broke out aboard ship and several crew members went missing while trying to extinguish the flames, Pfeifer (under the name of Theis) and several other shipmates risked their lives to rescue them. All eventually received the Medal of Honor for their actions. After receiving the Medal of Honor he continued to serve in the Marine Corps and upon reenlistment changed his name back to Pfeifer until he was discharged in 1917. Early life She was born Mary Jane Wendt in Chicago, Illinois, to Eleanore and Kenneth Wendt, a member of the Illinois General Assembly and a longtime judge in Cook County.
