''The World Ain't Enuff'' is the third studio album by American rapper Tela. It was released on September 19, 2000, through Rap-A-Lot Records. Recording sessions took place at House Of Blues in Memphis, at Hippie House Studios in Houston, and at Pacifique Studios in North Hollywood. Production was handled by Tela himself, along with DJ Slice T. It features guest appearances from AK, Devin the Dude, Gangsta Blac, Jazze Pha, Low Key, Money Marv and Scarface. The album peaked at number 47 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and number 8 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. James L. Smith (also referred to as James Prince, J. Prince, or Lil J.) (born October 31, 1965) is an American music executive, promoter and manager. He is the CEO and co-founder of the Houston based record label Rap-A-Lot. Smith and his son Jas are known for introducing Canadian rapper Drake to Lil Wayne and helping Drake sign to Young Money Entertainment in 2009. William Lawrence Mitchell (March 1, 1928 – January 5, 2010) was an American trumpeter, bandleader, soul, R&B, rock and roll, pop and funk record producer and arranger who ran Royal Studios in Memphis, Tennessee. Albert Leornes Greene (born April 13, 1946), better known as Al Green, is an American singer, songwriter, pastor and record producer best known for recording a series of soul hit singles in the early 1970s, including " Take Me to the River", "Tired of Being Alone", " I'm Still in Love with You", "Love and Happiness", and his signature song, " Let's Stay Together". Lawrence Smith (June 11, 1952 – December 19, 2014) was a pioneering American musician and hip hop record producer. He is best known for his co-productions (with Russell Simmons) of Run-DMC's ''Run-D.M.C.'' (1984) and ''King of Rock'' (1985) and his solo production of Whodini's ''Escape'' (1984) and ''Back in Black'' (1986). It is a measure of Smith's creative range that he could work simultaneously with the decidedly dissimilar Run-D.M.C. and Whodini. Whodini is an American hip hop group that was formed in 1982. The Brooklyn, New York-based trio consisted of vocalist and main lyricist Jalil Hutchins; co-vocalist John Fletcher, a.k.a. Ecstasy (who wore a Zorro-style hat as his trademark; June 7, 1964 – December 23, 2020); and turntable artist DJ Drew Carter, a.k.a. Grandmaster Dee. Coming out of the fertile New York rap scene of the early 1980s, Whodini was one of the first rap groups to add a R&B twist to their music, thus laying the foundation for a new genre, new jack swing.
