''The White Album'' is the first remix album by Australian contemporary worship music band Hillsong United. It was released on 4 March 2014. The album reached No. 48 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and also appeared on its component charts: No. 1 on Top Electronic Albums, No. 4 on Top Christian Albums and No. 22 on Top Digital Albums. Background On 21 January, Hillsong UNITED posted the official cover artwork for the album, and announced that it would be available for Upfront members first. They posted "Excited to announce something new for us," making reference to their first remix project ever. On 24 January, they announced the first remix available (on Upfront) "Like An Avalanche". Joel Houston
Joel Timothy Houston (born 19 September 1979) is an Australian musician, songwriter, pastor, and leader in the Sydney-based band Hillsong United, a worship band of Hillsong Church. He was co-pastor at Hillsong NYC between 2010 and 2017. He is the head of the Christian worship band Hillsong United, for which he sings, plays guitar, and writes songs. In 2008, he became the creative director at Hillsong Church. He is the oldest son of the church's Founding Pastors Brian and Bobbie Houston and grandson of Frank Houston. He has two siblings. Marty Sampson
Martin W "Marty" Sampson (born 31 May 1979) is an Australian singer-songwriter, musician and former worship leader at the Hillsong Church in Sydney. From the late 1990s until 2019 he featured on the United Live albums and was one of the original Hillsong United band's worship leaders. Sampson's main instrument is the guitar although he also plays the piano, flute and drums. Aside from work for Youth Alive and Hillsong United, Sampson has issued solo albums. Brooke Gabrielle Ligertwood (née Fraser; born 15 December 1983) better known by her maiden name Brooke Fraser, is a New Zealand singer and songwriter best known for her hit single " Something in the Water", released in 2010. It was released on 22 February 2013 for Australia, and was released by 26 February 2013 internationally, under Hillsong Music and Sparrow Records. It was recorded live at the Acer Arena on 9 March 2008 by Reuben Morgan, Joel Houston, Darlene Zschech, and the Hillsong Live Worship team with a crowd of over 10,000 worshippers. Cross Rhythms is a Christian media organisation based in Stoke-on-Trent, England.
