The Voice (Russia Season 5)
The fifth season of the Russian reality talent show ''The Voice'' premiered on September 2, 2016 on Channel One with Polina Gagarina and Grigory Leps returned as coaches alongside Dima Bilan and Leonid Agutin, who returned after a one-season break. Dmitry Nagiev returned as the show's presenter. On December 30, 2016, Darya Antonyuk was crowned the winner of ''The Voice'' and Leonid Agutin became the winning coach for the first time ever. With Darya's win, the twenty-year-old became the youngest winner in the show's history. Coaches and presenter There are two changes to the coaching panel from season four. Dima Nikolayevich Bilan (russian: Ди́ма Никола́евич Била́н; born Viktor Nikolayevich Belan, russian: Ви́ктор Никола́евич Бела́н, links=no; 24 December 1981) is a Russian singer, songwriter and actor. He represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with "Never Let You Go (Dima Bilan song), Never Let You Go", finishing second, and he won the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, contest in 2008 in Belgrade, with the song "Believe (Dima Bilan song), Believe". "Starlight" is a song by British singer-songwriter Matt Cardle. It was written by Matt Cardle, Ash Howes, Richard Stannard and Seton Daunt. It was released in the UK as the second single from his debut studio album, ''Letters'' on 4 December 2011. Background The song was co-written between Matt Cardle, Ash Howes, producer Richard Stannard and mixer Seton Daunt. It was one of the first songs that Cardle wrote for the album. Despite expressing his wishes at releasing "Starlight" as the album's single, its release was postponed in favour of "Run for Your Life".
