The Voice (Hong Kong TV Series)
''The Voice 超級巨聲'' is a Hong Kong reality show style singing competition broadcast by TVB, and also selects Hong Kong's representative to the New Talent Singing Awards International Finals. The first season was presented by cantopop singer Prudence Liew and aired from July 19, 2009 to February 7, 2010. Wen Wang (王雯) was the winner. Sammy Leung and Kristal Tin were the main presenters starting season two, which aired May 9, 2010 to September 12, 2010. Mag Lam was the winner. Season 3 premiered on August 14, 2011 following the conclusion of the talk show, ''Say What'' (吹水同鄉會). Format Contestants sing one song per round of competition, which depending on the length, will be broadcast within one or two episodes. 480i is the video mode used for standard-definition digital television in the Caribbean, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Laos, Western Sahara, and most of the Americas (with the exception of Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay). Justin Lo (, stage name ; born 1 July 1976) is a Hong Kong American singer-songwriter, actor and record producer working in Hong Kong. Biography Lo was born in Syracuse, New York, and moved to Hong Kong with his parents when he was two years old. Edmond Leung Hon-man (; born 5 November 1971) is a Hong Kong singer-songwriter, record producer, actor and television host. Background Born in British Hong Kong on 5 November 1971, he was a youth development footballer and coach until 17. Swing (Hong Kong Band)
Swing is a Hong Kong musical duo that was founded in 1999. The members are Eric Kwok and Jerald Chan. The group was formerly known as "Snowman". Their best known work is "1984" and "A ticket in half" （半張飛）. Swing was disbanded in 2002, but returned in 2009 for the release of the ''Wu Dang'' album. Jam Hsiao
Jam Hsiao Ching-Teng (, born 30 March 1987) is a Taiwanese singer and actor. At the age of 17, while still in high school, he began working as a restaurant singer. In May 2007, Hsiao took part in the first season of China Television (CTV)'s star search show, ''One Million Star''. He signed a contract with Warner Music Taiwan in 2008 and released his debut album, ''Jam Hsiao (album), Jam Hsiao'', in the same year. He is best known as the singer of the group the Wynners, and as a solo artist who has been active in the Hong Kong entertainment industry for nearly three decades.
