The Voice (French TV Series)
''The Voice : La plus belle voix'' () is a reality singing competition on TF1. It is France's version of '' The Voice'' format created by John de Mol. The first episode was aired on 25 February 2012. It is the second time that the format has been produced in French after the Belgian version '' The Voice Belgique''. One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents on their team and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the auditioning contestant. Format The series consists of three phases: a blind audition, a battle phase, and live performance shows. Four judges/coaches, all noteworthy recording artists, choose teams of contestants through a blind audition process. Johannes Hendrikus Hubert "John" de Mol Jr. (born 24 April 1955) is a Dutch Mass media, media Business magnate, tycoon. De Mol is one of the men behind production companies Endemol and Talpa Network, Talpa. Marc Lucien Lavoine (; born 6 August 1962 in Longjumeau) is a French singer and actor. ''Star Academy'' is a French reality television. It was produced by the Dutch company Endemol. It consists of a contest of young singers. It spawned an equally successful show in Canada called '' Star Académie''. It was broadcast on TF1 (2001–2008 and 2022) and NRJ 12 (2012). ''The Voice Belgique'' is a francophone Belgian reality television singing competition. The TV show is part of the international "Voice" franchise that started in the Netherlands as ''The Voice of Holland''. ''The Voice'' is an international reality television singing competition franchise. It is based on the reality singing competition ''The Voice of Holland'', which was originally created by Dutch producer John de Mol and Dutch singer Roel van Velzen. ''The Voice Kids'' is a French music talent show for aspiring singers aged 6 to 15, based on the concept of the show '' The Voice: la plus belle voix''.
