The Voice (Australia Season 6)
The sixth season of ''The Voice'' began on 24 April 2017. Delta Goodrem was the only coach to reprise her role from the fifth season. She was joined by returning coach, Seal, returning for his third season after a three-year absence and new additions Boy George and Kelly Rowland, replacing Jessie J, The Madden Brothers and Ronan Keating, respectively. Judah Kelly from Team Delta won the competition on 2 July 2017, marking Goodrem's second and final win as a coach. Coaches and hosts In July 2016, Jessie J announced her departure from ''The Voice'' after two seasons, commenting "I've loved doing the show, I've done four seasons: two in the U.K., two in Sydney, but I just need to make another album." Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel (born 19 February 1963), known professionally as Seal, is a British singer. He has sold over 20 million records worldwide. These include hit songs "Crazy" and "Killer", the latter of which went to number one in the UK, and his most celebrated song, "Kiss from a Rose", which was released in 1994. Seal is renowned for his distinctive soulful singing voice. Seal has won multiple awards throughout his career, including three Brit Awards; he won Best British Male in 1992. The Voice Kids (Australian Season 1)
''The Voice Kids'' was an Australian television talent show that premiered on the Nine Network on 22 June 2014. It featured Delta Goodrem, Mel B and The Madden Brothers as the coaches. Development Auditions The auditions were opened to anyone between the age of 8 and 14, as of 1 January 2014. Contestants were to submit an online application via ''The Voice'' official website, which ended on 24 September 2013. Selected applicants out of the 8,000 hopefuls who applied for the auditions were invited to the producers' auditions in various capital cities. Two of the audition cities were Perth, Western Australia, held on 18 October 2013; and Adelaide, South Australia. The producers' auditions consisted of three stages.
