''The Ultimate Collection'' is a greatest hits album by Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music, released on 7 November 1988 by E'G Records. Unlike the 1986 compilation album '' Street Life'', which was predominantly Roxy Music material, ''The Ultimate Collection'' focuses more on Ferry's solo career. It includes the previously unreleased track "He'll Have to Go", a leftover from the 1977 sessions for the album '' The Bride Stripped Bare'', which was also released as a single in 1989, and the track "Help Me" which had been released as a single in the US in 1986 but was unreleased in the UK until this album. The album peaked at number six on the UK Albums Chart and has been certified triple platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). Bryan Ferry Order of the British Empire, CBE (born 26 September 1945) is an English singer and songwriter. His voice has been described as an "elegant, seductive croon". He also established a distinctive image and sartorial style: according to ''The Independent'', Ferry and his contemporary David Bowie influenced a generation with both their music and their appearances. Wilbert Huntington Harrison (January 5, 1929 – October 26, 1994) was an American rhythm and blues singer, pianist, guitarist and harmonica player. Biography Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Harrison had a Billboard #1 record in 1959 with the song "Kansas City". The song was written in 1952 and was one of the first credited collaborations by the team of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. It sold over one million copies, and was awarded a gold disc. Harrison recorded "Kansas City" for the Harlem-based entrepreneur Bobby Robinson, who released it on his Fury record label. At the height of the song's success, Robinson was sued by Savoy Records who informed them that the release of the record in March 1959 violated a contract Harrison had with that label that was to expire in August 1959. "Angel Eyes" is a song by the English rock band Roxy Music. It was released in August 1979 as the third single from their sixth studio album '' Manifesto'' (1979), and peaked at No. 4 in the UK. The single was a disco re-recorded version of the album track, which was more in a rock vein, and (just like the previous single "Dance Away") was also released as an extended 12" dance mix (still a relatively new format at that time). ''Manifesto'' is the sixth studio album by English rock band Roxy Music. It was released in March 1979 by E.G. in the United Kingdom, Polydor in Europe and Atco in the United States. Following an almost four-year recording hiatus, ''Manifesto'' was Roxy Music's first studio album since 1975's ''Siren''. The first single from ''Manifesto'' was "Trash", which peaked at number 40 on the UK Singles Chart.
