''The Tinderbox'' ( da, Fyrtøjet) is a 1946 Danish animated film directed by Svend Methling and produced by Dansk Farve- og Tegnefilm, Palladium, It is the first full-length Danish and European animated film ever made. It was an adaption of Hans Christian Andersen's popular fairytale of the same name. The film was in colour. The project was inspired by the works of Walt Disney and Max and Dave Fleischer, especially their "Gulliver's Travels" (1939). Frederiksborggade
Frederiksborggade is a street in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Kultorvet square in the southeast to Søtorvet where Queen Louise's Bridge connects it to Nørrebrogade in Nørrebro on the other side of The Lakes. The street is effectively divided in two by Nørreport station on Nørre Voldgade. The short, southern portion, together with Kultorvet and Købmagergade, forms a pedestrian zone between the station and Strøget at Amagertorv. Ingeborg Steffensen (4 June 1888 – 7 January 1964) was a Danish mezzo-soprano opera singer who made her début at the Royal Danish Theatre in 1915 as Annchen in Carl Maria von Weber's '' Jægerbruden''. She was particularly successful in the title role of '' Carmen'', as Dalila in ''Samson and Delilah'' and Azuncena in ''Il trovatore''. She also sang the soprano Fru Ingeborg in Peter Heise's Danish opera ''Drot og marsk''. After her retirement from the stage in 1956, she continued to give concerts and sang oratorios.
