The Territory Of White Deer
''The Territory of White Deer'' ( cs, Území bílých králů, german: Das Geheimnis der weißen Hirsche) is a Czechoslovak TV series. The series was screened on Czechoslovak Television, on German ZDF, Super RTL and Kinderkanal and several times on Czech Television as well. Plot The story centers around a group of children, led by Leontinka (Zuzana Vejvodová) and Olda (Lukáš Jenčík). Father of Leontinka (Jan Kanyza) manages the local Deer Park with an invaluable breed of white deer. A series of mysterious events unfolds, threatening the deer. Leontinka and Olda, who is in turn a son of a local police officer (Pavel Zedníček), search for the villain. The list of suspects includes young fugitive (Michal Suchánek (Czech actor), Michal Suchánek), former head of the deer park (Martin Růžek), former poacher (Jiří Sovák), manager of local restaurant (Oldřich Vlach), designer planning a motorway (Miroslav Etzler) and a couple of others. Kutná Hora
Kutná Hora (; medieval Czech: ''Hory Kutné''; german: Kuttenberg) is a town in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 20,000 inhabitants. The centre of Kutná Hora, including the Sedlec Abbey and its ossuary, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995 because of its outstanding architecture and its influence on subsequent architectural developments in other Central European city centres. Deer Park Žehušice
Deer Park Žehušice ( cs, Žehušická obora) is a nature monument in the municipal territory of Žehušice in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. Location The deer park is located about east of Kutná Hora. History Deer Park Žehušice was founded by the Thun-Hohenstein family in 1867. In 1826, Count Matthias Thun-Hohenstein decided to drain the fish pond ''Kravinec'' located behind Žehušice Castle and to build a fence around the area. A park consisting of meadows and groves, covering about 2.5 km², was created. Four years later, Matthias obtained several white deer from Count Kinsky from Chlumec nad Cidlinou. The origin of the deer is disputed but the species were likely either from India or Persia. The particular breed was short-lived and the herds held at the same time by Counts Kinsky, Czernin and Schwarzenberg were on the verge of dying out.
