Kurt Gloor
Kurt Gloor (8 November 1942 – 20 September 1997) was a Swiss film director, screenwriter and producer. He directed eleven films between 1967 and 1992. His 1976 film '' The Sudden Loneliness of Konrad Steiner'' was entered into the 26th Berlin International Film Festival. Five years later, his 1981 film ''The Inventor'' was entered into the 31st Berlin International Film Festival. In 1984, his film ''Man Without Memory'' was entered into the 34th Berlin International Film Festival. He committed suicide shortly after completing his final film. 26th Berlin International Film Festival
The 26th annual Berlin International Film Festival was held from 25 June – 6 July 1976. The Golden Bear was awarded to the American film '' Buffalo Bill and the Indians, or Sitting Bull's History Lesson'' directed by Robert Altman. Alfred Rasser (29 May 1907 – 18 August 1977) was a Swiss comedian, radio personality, and stage and film actor who starred predominantly in Swiss German-language cinema and television and stage productions, but he was also known for the role of ''Theophil Läppli'', a parody on the Swiss militarism. Early life and education Born and raised in Basel, Canton of Basel-Stadt in Switzerland as son of Berta née Stump and Emil, Rasser's father died when Alfred was at the age of 11.
