''The Snow on the Footsteps'' (French: ''La neige sur les pas'') is a 1942 French drama film directed by André Berthomieu and starring Pierre Blanchar, Michèle Alfa and Georges Lannes. It was based on the 1911 novel of the same title by Henry Bordeaux.Goble p.48 The film's sets were designed by the art director Robert Giordani. The novel had previously been adapted into the 1923 silent film '' The Snow on the Footsteps''.
