Alphie James
Alphie was an educational robot toy popular in the 1980s. It featured a slot in the front for interchangeable cards which lined up with special soft-touch input function buttons built into the front of the toy. It ran on batteries and came with different insert cards to help children learn math, spelling, matching skills, etc. The toy also played music. The original Alphie was released in 1978. Fred Graham (October 26, 1908 – October 10, 1979) was an American actor and stuntman who performed in films from the 1930s to the 1970s. Graham was a semiprofessional baseball player. Graham entered the film business in 1928. He was a charter member of the Screen Actors Guild. He appeared in ''Mutiny on the Bounty'' (1935)."Obituaries". ''Variety''. Helen May (born Helen May Bradwell on 25 February 1947; from 1968 to 1983 known as Helen Cook or sometimes Helen May Cook) is a New Zealand education pioneer. She has been an eloquent activist and academic in education, with a strong feminist focus on early childhood education. Her advocacy has been characterised by its focus on the rights and needs of children and teachers, expressed by an active and collaborative engagement with educational institutions, trade unions, the Ministry of Education and other government agencies. Junius Matthews
Junius Conyers Matthews (June 12, 1890 – January 18, 1978) was an American actor in films, theater, radio and television. He was the voice of Archimedes the Owl in Disney's '' The Sword in the Stone'' in 1963. He was also the original voice of Rabbit in the ''Winnie the Pooh'' franchise from 1966 to 1977. Career Matthews began his acting career on Broadway in shows like ''Young Wisdom'' (1914) and ''Any House'' (1916) before he got his first role in a silent film called ''The Silent Witness'' (1917). He briefly stopped performing while serving as a private in World War I. Over the course of the 1920s he alternated between stage and radio productions.
