The Second Time Around (Only Fools And Horses)
"The Second Time Around" is an episode of the BBC sitcom, ''Only Fools and Horses''. It was the fourth episode of series 1, and was first broadcast on 29 September 1981. In the episode, an old fiancée of Del's returns and they rekindle their relationship, to Rodney and Grandad's horror. Synopsis Del Boy and Rodney are at work as usual, flogging handkerchiefs to the market crowd. They then pop into ''The Nag's Head'' for a drink, until Del is surprised to see one of his old girlfriends, Pauline Harris, back in London after twelve years. Pauline tells Del that she got work as an air hostess in San Francisco after her husband Bobby Finch died. Del decides to arrange a date with Pauline so they can be together again, but Rodney does not agree with it, since he remembers Pauline's personality and now suspects that she may be a cold-blooded killer (as it now appears that Finch is one of two husbands to have died). Only Fools And Horses
''Only Fools and Horses....'' is a British television sitcom created and written by John Sullivan. Seven series were originally broadcast on BBC One in the United Kingdom from 1981 to 1991, with sixteen sporadic Christmas specials aired until the end of the show in 2003. Set in working-class Peckham in south-east London, it stars David Jason as ambitious market trader Derek "Del Boy" Trotter and Nicholas Lyndhurst as his younger brother Rodney Trotter, alongside a supporting cast. Trigger (Only Fools And Horses)
Colin Ball, more commonly known as Trigger (born 22 April 1948), is a fictional character in the BBC sitcom ''Only Fools and Horses'' and its prequel ''Rock & Chips''. He was played by Roger Lloyd-Pack in ''Only Fools and Horses'' and Lewis Osbourne in ''Rock & Chips''. Characteristics A regular at the Nag's Head pub, and old friend of Del Boy, Trigger is a road sweeper, and also engages in trading and petty thefts (though this status as a small-time thief is soon phased out of the character's development). Ronnie Hazlehurst
Ronald Hazlehurst (13 March 1928 – 1 October 2007) was an English composer and conductor who, having joined the BBC in 1961, became its Light Entertainment Musical Director. Hazlehurst composed the theme tunes for many well-known British sitcoms and gameshows of the 1970s and the 1980s, including ''Yes Minister'', ''Are You Being Served?'', ''I Didn't Know You Cared'' and ''Last of the Summer Wine''. Early life Ronald Hazlehurst was born in Dukinfield, Cheshire, in 1928, to a railway worker father and a piano teacher mother. Beryl Cooke (1 November 1906 – 21 August 2001) was an English actress. Roger Anthony Lloyd-Pack (8 February 1944 – 16 January 2014) was an English actor. He is best known for playing Trigger in ''Only Fools and Horses'' from 1981 to 2003, and Owen Newitt in ''The Vicar of Dibley'' from 1994 to 2007. He later starred as Tom in ''The Old Guys'' with Clive Swift. Lennard Pearce (9 February 1915 – 15 December 1984) was an English actor who worked in theatre and television. He was perhaps best known as Grandad in the BBC television series ''Only Fools and Horses'', in which he starred from 1981 until his death in December 1984.
