The Robinson Family (Neighbours)
The Robinson family are a fictional family from the Australian television soap opera ''Neighbours''. The family were created by Reg Watson and introduced in the first episode of the serial, broadcast on 18 March 1985. The family initially consisted of Jim Robinson (Alan Dale), his mother-in-law Helen Daniels (Anne Haddy), and his four children Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), Julie Martin (Vikki Blanche), Scott Robinson (Darius Perkins), and Lucy Robinson (Kylie Flinker; Sasha Close; Melissa Bell). The Robinsons have one of the largest and most complex family trees in the show's history. Reg Watson
Reginald James Watson (27 August 1926 – 8 October 2019) was an Australian television producer and screenwriter. He was executive producer on ''Crossroads (British TV series), Crossroads'' and created Australian media exports serials such as ''Prisoner (TV series), Prisoner'', ''Neighbours'', ''The Young Doctors'' and ''Sons and Daughters (Australian TV series), Sons and Daughters''. Career Watson was born on 27 August 1926, and grew up on a sugar farm in Queensland. He began his career as an actor at the age of sixteen on Australian radio firstly as an actor and then as an announcer, before moving to the UK in 1955. He was soon hired by Associated TeleVision, ATV and in 1956, joined Ned Sherrin and Noele Gordon in Birmingham to establish the base of ATV Midlands where his job was as Head Of Light Entertainment. ''Neighbours'' is an Australian television soap opera, which has aired since 18 March 1985. It was created by television executive Reg Watson. The Seven Network commissioned the show following the success of Watson's earlier soap '' Sons and Daughters.'' Harlow Robinson is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Jemma Donovan. Amy Williams (also Robinson) is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Zoe Cramond. The character was originally played by child actress Nicolette Minster in 1988, while Sheridan Compagnino took over the role for Amy's reappearance in 1992.
