Rev Theory (formerly known as Revelation Theory) is an American rock band formed in 2002 in North Andover, Massachusetts. The band has released four studio albums: '' Truth Is Currency'' (2005), '' Light It Up'' (2008), ''Justice'' (2011) and '' The Revelation'' (2016), as well as three EPs: '' Revelation Theory EP'' (2004), ''Acoustic Live from the Gibson Lounge'' (2009) and '' Take 'Em Out'' (2012). Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Some of the earliest hard rock music was produced by the Kinks, the Who, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. In the late 1960s, bands such as Blue Cheer, the Jeff Beck Group, Iron Butterfly, Led Zeppelin, Golden Earring, Steppenwolf and Deep Purple also produced hard rock. Heavy Metal Music
Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. With roots in blues rock, psychedelic rock and acid rock, heavy metal bands developed a thick, monumental sound characterized by distortion (music), distorted guitars, extended guitar solos, emphatic Beat (music), beats and loudness. Another Century Records is an alternative rock record label with offices in the U nited States, Germany and London. It is an imprint of Century Media Records, which was acquired in August 2015 by Sony Music Entertainment.
