''The Rap of China'' (), formerly known as (), is a Chinese rap competition show produced by iQiyi. The show was carried out in the form of three groups of producers Kris Wu, Will Pan, MC HotDog and Chang Chen-yue judging the performance of the participating students, and received great attention. In the end, after fierce competition among players and difficult choices of producers, China's hip-hop first season produced two annual championships, GAI (musician) and PG ONE. On April 9, 2018, the official Weibo of "''The Rap of China 2''" was launched. On May 17, the instructor of the second season confirmed that in addition to the original Kris Wu, Will Pan, MC HotDog and Chang Chen-yue in the first season, there would also be the newly added G.E.M., which was broadcast on July 14, 2018. Wu Yi Fan (, ; born 6 November 1990), known professionally as Kris Wu, is a Canadian former rapper, singer, actor and model, and convicted serial rapist. He is a former member of South Korean-Chinese boy band Exo and its subgroup Exo-M under SM Entertainment, before leaving the group in 2014. ''Rap for Youth'' (说唱新世代) is a Chinese rap streaming competition television series that airs on the digital and streaming service Bilibili. The show features regular judges Huang Zitao, MC HotDog, Higher Brothers and Indonesian rapper Rich Brian, and special guest judge Li Yuchun. The show, which began airing in the summer of 2020, puts it in direct competition with other major Chinese rap competition shows such as ''The Rap of China'', which airs on iQIYI, and '' Rap Star'', which airs on Mango TV. ''Rap for Youth'' was acclaimed by critics and audiences, and received a 9.2 out of 10 rating on Douban, which is among the highest ever ratings for any music programs on Douban.
