The Rage (2007 Film)
''The Rage'' is a 2007 horror film about a mad scientist who injects people with a rage virus in his laboratory in the woods. The film stars Andrew Divoff and Erin Brown and was directed by Robert Kurtzman. It was first shown at the Fantasia Festival in Canada on July 13, 2007 and released on DVD by the independent company Screen Media Films on February 26, 2008. The entire film is filmed in and around the town of Crestline, Ohio in the United States. The music videos for Mushroomhead's "12 Hundred" and "Damage Done" were filmed on the set, and are featured in the film's DVD. Plot A mad scientist named Dr. Viktor Vasilienko (Andrew Divoff) is disillusioned with capitalist society and creates a virus that is designed to make people rage with anger. Robert Kurtzman
Robert Kurtzman (born November 25, 1964) is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, and special effects makeup artist. Career Kurtzman began his career in 1984 when he moved from his hometown of Crestline, Ohio, to Hollywood, California, to pursue his interest in prosthetic makeup, better known as special makeup effects. In 1988, along with Gregory Nicotero and Howard Berger, he formed K.N.B. EFX Group, a special makeup effects studio which has gone on to work on over 400 film and television projects. K.N.B. has won numerous awards, including an Emmy Award in 2001 for their work on the 2000 Sci Fi Channel miniseries ''Frank Herbert's Dune''. They were awarded an Academy Award in 2006 for achievement in makeup for '' The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe''. Reggie Bannister
Reginald Horace "Reggie" Bannister (born September 29, 1945) is an American musician, actor, producer, writer, and activist. He is known for his role as Reggie in the ''Phantasm'' film series. Biography Bannister is known for playing the gun-toting, ex-ice cream man Reggie in the ''Phantasm'' film series. Bannister starred in the films, which were directed by Don Coscarelli, alongside A. Michael Baldwin, Bill Thornbury, and Angus Scrimm. Bannister has appeared in several films and worked with such notables as Ossie Davis, Bruce Campbell, Ella Joyce, Daniel Roebuck, Andy Griffith, Joe Estevez and Andrew Divoff, and many others.
