The Quest (British TV Series)
''The Quest'' is a series of three feature-length comedy dramas produced by Yorkshire Television and written for British television by Douglas Livingstone and directed by David Jason. The first episode in the series premiered on ITV in 2002. Two follow-up episodes were also created by Livingstone and Jason: ''The Second Quest'' and ''The Final Quest'' (both 2004). The series revolves around three older men (played by Jason, Hywel Bennett and Roy Hudd) trying to relive their youth. David Jason
Sir David John White (born 2 February 1940), known professionally by his stage name David Jason, is an English actor. He is best known for his roles as Derek "Del Boy" Trotter in the BBC sitcom ''Only Fools and Horses'', Detective Inspector Jack Frost in ''A Touch of Frost,'' Granville in ''Open All Hours'' and ''Still Open All Hours,'' and Pop Larkin in '' The Darling Buds of May'', as well as voicing Mr. Toad in ''The Wind in the Willows'', the BFG in the 1989 film and the title characters of '' Danger Mouse'' and ''Count Duckula''. ITV (TV Network)
ITV is a British free-to-air public broadcast television network. It was launched in 1955 as Independent Television to provide competition to BBC Television (established in 1936). Hywel Bennett
Hywel Thomas Bennett (8 April 1944 – 24 July 2017) was a Welsh film and television actor. He had a lead role in ''The Family Way'' (1966) and played the titular "thinking man's layabout" James Shelley in the television sitcom '' Shelley'' (1979–1992). Bennett played opposite Hayley Mills in ''The Family Way'', ''Twisted Nerve'' (1968) and '' Endless Night'' (1972). Roy Hudd
Roy Hudd, OBE (16 May 1936 – 15 March 2020) was an English comedian, actor, presenter, radio host, author and authority on the history of music hall entertainment. Early life Hudd was born in Croydon on 16 May 1936 to Evalina "Evie" (née Barham) and Harry Hudd. His father was a carpenter who left the family shortly after the Second World War, and his mother, who had a history of mental health problems, commited suicide by gas when Hudd was 9 years old. Hudd was primarily brought up by his grandmother, and attended Tavistock Secondary Modern School in Croydon and Croydon Secondary Technical School. After completing his national service in the Royal Air Force, he studied commercial art at the Regent Street Polytechnic. Leslie Dennis Heseltine (born 12 October 1953) is an English television presenter, actor, and comedian. He presented ''Family Fortunes'' from 1987 until 2002. Early life Dennis was born Leslie Dennis Heseltine on 12 October 1953 in the Liverpool suburb of Garston. His mother worked in a factory while his father, who worked in a betting shop after serving in the Royal Navy during the Second World War, was listed as a football player on the books of Liverpool FC but did not play for the first team.
