''The Other Half'' is an American daytime talk show produced for broadcast syndication by NBC Studios, which aired from 2001 to 2003, mainly on NBC's owned-and-operated stations but syndicated to markets outside those in which NBC owned a station. The show was hosted by Dick Clark, former child actors Mario Lopez and Danny Bonaduce, and cosmetic surgeon Dr. Jan Adams, who was later replaced by actor Dorian Gregory. Richard Wagstaff Clark (November 30, 1929April 18, 2012) was an American radio and television personality, television producer and film actor, as well as a cultural icon who remains best known for hosting ''American Bandstand'' from 1956 to 1989. He also hosted five incarnations of the Pyramid (game show), ''Pyramid'' game show from 1973 to 1988 and ''Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve'', which transmitted New Year's Eve celebrations in New York City's Times Square. Dorian Gregory (born January 26, 1971) is an American actor and television host who played Darryl Morris on the television show ''Charmed'' (1998–2005) and was the fourth and final permanent host of ''Soul Train'', replacing Shemar Moore. Background Gregory was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Cleveland, Ohio until age nine, when he and his family moved to Los Angeles, California. Jan Rudalgo Adams (born Rudalgo Alonzo Adams; April 21, 1954) is a former American cosmetic surgeon, author, and television presenter. Biography Rudalgo Alonzo Adams was born in Middletown, Ohio. At six months, his name was changed to Jan Rudalgo Adams. He attended Harvard University. After his sophomore year, Adams worked for S. Allen Counter where he studied the hearing systems of insects.
