The Omen (2006 Film)
''The Omen'' (also known as ''The Omen: 666'') is a 2006 American supernatural horror film directed by John Moore and written by David Seltzer. The fifth installment in ''The Omen'' series, it is a remake of the 1976 film of the same name, which was also written by Seltzer. This version stars Julia Stiles, Liev Schreiber, Mia Farrow, David Thewlis, Pete Postlethwaite, Michael Gambon and Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick in his film debut. It was released worldwide on June 6, 2006, by 20th Century Fox. It received mixed reviews from critics and grossed $120 million against a $25 million budget. John Moore (director)
John Moore (born 1970) is an Irish film director and producer whose credits include the action war film '' Behind Enemy Lines'' and ''A Good Day to Die Hard''. Early life and education Moore was born in Dundalk, Ireland, and attended Dublin Institute of Technology, where he attained a degree in Media Arts. Upon completing his course, Moore genuinely believed that he wouldn't go on to work within the medium of film, but after a few years, that promptly changed. Career After graduating, he wrote and directed a series of short films in Ireland. Several of these shorts have featured on Irish TV networks over the years, and along the way Moore founded an Irish-based production company called Clingfilms. Giovanni Lombardo Radice (born 23 September 1954, Rome, Italy) is an Italian film actor, better known to audiences as John Morghen. He first began his career in theater before he starred in Ruggero Deodato's ''The House on the Edge of the Park'' (1980). Throughout the 80s Radice appeared in many Italian cult films such as ''Cannibal Apocalypse'' (1980), '' City of the Living Dead'' (1980), ''Stage Fright'' (1987) and '' The Church'' (1989). Jackal
Jackals are medium-sized canids native to Africa and Eurasia.
