The New Beginning in Hiroshima was a professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event took place on February 10 and 11, 2021 in Hiroshima, Hiroshima Prefecture, Hiroshima at the Hiroshima Sun Plaza, Hiroshima Sun Plaza Hall. It was the thirty-first event promoted under the NJPW The New Beginning name and the second in Hiroshima, the last being The New Beginning in Hiroshima in 2014. The event featured thirteen matches across both days. The first day was main evented by Hiromu Takahashi making his first defence of the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship against Sho (wrestler), Sho. In professional wrestling, a referee is an authority figure present in or near the ring during matches. The referee's purpose is similar to that of referees in combat sports such as boxing or mixed martial arts, that is, as an arbiter of the rules and the person charged with rendering decisions. In boxing and mixed martial arts bouts, introductions occur after both fighters have entered the ring or cage. is an American-born Japanese-American retired professional wrestler and actor best known for his 26 year stint with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).
