The Most (Swedish Band)
The Most is a Beat band from Umeå, Sweden. Original members are Frans Perris (guitars and vocals), Magnus Kollberg (guitars and vocals), Mats Westin (drums) and Marcus Holmberg (bass and organ). Vinyl EPs and albums being released on their own label TMR (The Most Recordings) and on the label Ny Våg Records and later on CopaseDisques. Drawing inspiration from old Blues, Jazz, Bluegrass, 1950s-1960s Soul, 1950s-1960s R&B but also from bands like The Zombies, The Kinks, and The Who, their music has been described as re-inventing 1960s music. History The Most was formed by Frans Perris and Magnus Kollberg in early 2000 after different working projects, one being named Loving Nature featuring Michael Ludvigsson on drums. The Most first line up was established with the addition of bass player Marcus Holmberg from the band Komeda. Chris Dreja
Christopher Walenty Dreja (born 11 November 1945 in Surbiton, Surrey) is an English musician, best known as the rhythm guitarist and bassist for rock band the Yardbirds for which he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992. Early life Chris Dreja was born in Surbiton, and raised in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. His father was of Polish descent. His brother Stefan Dreja happened to meet guitarist Top Topham, and introduced him to his brother. Topham and Dreja were influenced by folk/blues guitarist Gerry Lochran, who influenced them to switch from acoustic to electric guitars according to Greg Russo in his book ''The Yardbirds: The Ultimate Rave-Up''. John Charles Edward Alder (born 29 November 1944), also known as Twink, is an English language, English drummer, actor, Singing, singer, and songwriter who was a central figure in the English Psychedelic music, psychedelic movement. Tages were a Swedish rock band formed in Gothenburg in 1963. The group, whose original line-up consisted of Tommy Blom, Göran Lagerberg, Danne Larsson, Anders Töpel and Freddie Skantze, were one of the most successful Swedish bands of the 1960s. The International Pop Overthrow (often referred to as simply The IPO) is an American-originated music festival, devoted to power pop music and related genres. The Cavern Club is a nightclub on Mathew Street, Liverpool, England. The Cavern Club opened in 1957 as a jazz club, later becoming a centre of the rock and roll scene in Liverpool in the late 50s and early 1960s. Beady Eye were an English rock band formed in London in 2009 by former Oasis members Liam Gallagher (vocals), Gem Archer (guitar), Andy Bell (guitar), and Chris Sharrock (drums). Oasis were an English rock band formed in Manchester in 1991.
