The Lords Of Destiny
''The Lords of Destiny'' is an adventure published by FASA in 1985 for ''The Doctor Who Role Playing Game''. Plot summary The Companions are sent aboard an enormous 10,000 km long World-Ship that is moving through space at near-light speed, destroying any planets that lie in its path. A ruling computer keeps the ship's inhabitants unaware of this destruction or that anything exists outside the ship. Meanwhile, rebels are trying to overthrow the tyrannical Captain-Lords. Fasa ( fa, فسا, Fasā, also Romanized as Fassa) is a city and capital of Fasa County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2016 census, its population was 110,825, in 33,379 families. Fasa is the fourth most populous city of the province. The city dates back to the Achaemenid period. Fasa's economy is based on agriculture and Pastoralism. ''The Doctor Who Role Playing Game'' is a '' Doctor Who'' roleplaying game published by FASA in 1985. The game allows players to assume similar roles to the Doctor and his companions or as agents of the Celestial Intervention Agency. Setting The game was based on the programme and used it as its primary source material. The main set of three rulebooks was followed by several separately published adventures and supplements for the game, which provided details about the Daleks, the Cybermen, and the Master. The supplements contained two pamphlets, one for players and another for game masters. History The game came out in two printings, one showing painted artwork of the Fourth Doctor and Leela, the other a publicity photograph of them. A gamemaster (GM; also known as game master, game manager, game moderator, referee, or storyteller) is a person who acts as an organizer, officiant for regarding rules, arbitrator, and moderator for a multiplayer role-playing game. They are more common in co-operative games in which players work together than in competitive games in which players oppose each other. The act performed by a gamemaster is sometimes referred to as "Gamemastering" or simply "GM-ing".
