The Legend Of Buddha
''The Legend of Buddha'' is a 2004 Indian animated film directed by Shamboo Falke, produced by Stalin Saravanan and written by Caarthick Raju and Ramesh Karthikeyan. The film tells the story of Prince Siddhartha Gautama, who leaves his kingdom to become the spiritual leader, Buddha. The film was selected for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards. Plot Mahamaya has a dream where a white elephant visits her and she miraculously becomes pregnant. An astrologer tells Suddhodana and Mahamaya that they will have a son. Mahamaya gives birth to the baby boy in the garden under a tree. The astrologer says the boy will be a different leader who will save mankind. Suddhodana says he would rather the child rule the kingdom and promises to provide him a life of luxury. Asita
Asita or Kaladevala or Kanhasiri was a hermit ascetic depicted in Buddhist sources as having lived in ancient India. He was a teacher and advisor of Suddhodana, the father of the Buddha, and is best known for having predicted that prince Siddhartha of Kapilavastu would either become a great chakravartin or become a supreme religious leader; Siddhartha was later known as Gautama Buddha. The name Asita literally means 'not clinging' while Kanhasiri means 'dark splendour'. Asita is described as a '' tāpasa'', a practitioner of asceticism. Yaśodharā ( pi, Yasodharā, sa, यशोधरा) was the wife of Prince Siddhartha — until he left his home to become a śramaṇa— the mother of Rāhula, and the sister of Devadatta. She later became a Buddhist Nun and is considered an arahatā. Life Yaśodharā was the daughter of King Suppabuddha, and Amita. She was born on same day in the month of Vaishaka as prince Siddhartha. Her grandfather was Añjana a Koliya chief, her father was Suppabuddha and her mother, Amitā, came from a Shakya family. Śuddhodana
Śuddhodana (; Pali: ''Suddhōdana''), meaning "he who grows pure rice," was the father of Gautama Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama, better known as the Buddha. He was a leader of the Shakya, who lived in an oligarchic republic, with their capital at Kapilavastu (ancient city), Kapilavastu. Bridgit Claire Mendler (born December 18, 1992) is an American singer and actress.
